Jerri Garretson grew up on the Great Plains of Kansas and has infused her fiction with the local color of the land. She is the author of Johnny Kaw - The Pioneer Spirit of Kansas, Kansas Katie - A Sunflower Tale, Twister Twyla - The Kansas Cowgirl, Imagicat, and The Secret of Whispering Springs, as well as articles and short stories. She now lives in Florida.
