“‘Love, Sanae’ is a cookbook straight from the author’s soul. Sanae Suzuki, along with husband Eric Lechausser have breathed new life into macrobiotic cooking, just as macrobiotic cooking breathed new life into Sanae when she was diagnosed with cancer. This book, filled with recipes designed to create health and balance, showcases the true beauty of macrobiotic cuisine, with recipes that reflect that intangible indefinable ‘something’ that separates those who just cook from those whose passion drives their cooking. Sanae got her life back through macrobiotics and, as I am, is committed to giving you the chance to get yours back, too, with simple, gorgeous, delicious, balanced eating. This book is a must-have for anyone serious about food, cooking and life.” — Christina Pirello Emmy award winning host of ‘Christina Cooks’ on National Public Television Bestselling cookbook author and educator “I strongly recommend this book for anyone looking to maintain their health, or to regain it if good health has drifted away. Inspiring and authoritatively written, it will guide you step-by-step. Sanae’s method is gentle, and the foods are delicious. But make no mistake about it: This is a powerful approach. People whose medical problems have led them to lose hope have found tremendous success with the secrets you are about to learn, and I encourage you to put them to work.” — Neal D. Barnard, MD President, Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine “Sanae’s journey is almost unbelievable; she has experienced death and rebirth more times than anyone I know, and it has made her deep and rich and full of wisdom. In this exquisite book, she offers everything she knows with a delicate touch and a smiling heart. You will love it.” — Jessica Porter author of The Hip Chick's Guide to Macrobiotics
