L'autore

Graeme Turner was President of the Australian Academy of the Humanities from 2004-2007, and he is the Convenor of the Australian Research Council Cultural Research Network. He sits on many advisory boards, editorial boards, and policy committees; he has served a term on the ARC's College of Experts in the Humanities and Creative Arts panel. Graeme's most recent publications include Ending the Affair: the decline of television current affairs in Australia (UNSW Press, 2005), and (with Stuart Cunningham) the second edition of The Media and Communications in Australia (Allen & Unwin, 2006). Other recent publications include Understanding Celebrity (SAGE, 2004) and The Film Cultures Reader (Routledge, 2002), and articles in the journals Cultural Politics and the International Journal of Cultural Studies.
