L'autore:
Doreen Friesen Shephard is a nurse who served as a missionary in India for five years. She earned a Master of Public Health Degree from the University of Hawaii after which she received serious injuries in an automobile accident. During her recovery time she went on a trip around the world which included three months in India. After working as a nurse for about two years, she began teaching nursing and earned a Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Nursing before retiring in Denton, Texas, where she lives with her husband, Ray. Doreen is an active member of a large non-denominational church in the area with on-going missionary work in India. She continues to serve the Lord with the same caring and loving heart that led her to become a nurse... and a missionary.
