Mariellen Griffith has been writing poetry for the past 20 years. Her interests are combining poetry with nature photography. She has been a member of the Garden Writers Association since 2001. She is a Master Gardener with the state of Arkansas and is an Organic Gardener and practices sustainable and ecological principles in her garden. She is a member of the National Wildlife Association and has received a certificate for having a garden that meets the standards of the National Wildlife Association. She lives on the island in Holiday Island. She is a member of Holiday Island Art guild, Photography Guild, Gardening Club and member of the Eureka springs Historical Society and Garden Club.
