The only author of his generation compared to Hemingway, Mike Tucker is a novelist, historian and poet. Born in 1960, he was raised in Japan, Northern England and America. He holds degrees in history and literature, and honors in poetry. Following his apprenticeship as a writer in Washington, D.C. from 1983-1986, where he worked as a concrete laborer and organized poetry benefits for Central American refugees, he was an American Marine infantryman. Under fire as a young poet with Spanish counter-terrorists in Barcelona in 1981, he was the only author on counter-terrorist missions with both Delta Force and SEAL Team Six commandos after September 11th. His next book, Clandestine, a novel, will be internationally released in November 2014. He lives in the Near East and Portugal.
