D.L. Holliday resides in Tennessee close to the site of Morris Ferry. A lifetime writer of short stories and juvenile fiction, she developed the Farra Morgan, mystery series borrowing the names and personalities of her four grandchildren. In addition to the love of writing, D.L. Holliday raised three children with her husband of forty-four years, while working as a Licensed Practical Nurse. While wearing multiple hats in the medical field throughout the years, including two terms as a seated member of the Tennessee Board of Nursing, inducted into the Who's Who of nursing as an outstanding Licensed Practical Nurse as well as, chosen to join a Pearson Vue Panel of professionals that reviewed and revised the NCLEX practical nurse graduates must pass in order to obtain licensure, she returned recently to her love of writing to complete her goal of publishing her works.
