L'autore:
J. Roy Vorhauer has lived in Virginia since he was seven years old. Originally attending Roanoke College he transferred to James Madison College to complete his bachelors degree with teaching areas in history, social sciences, and English. He then went to complete his master's degree and education doctorate in school administration from the University of Virginia. After high school teaching coaching for five years for Howard entered an experimental program funded by the Ford Foundation and implemented by the National Association of Secondary School Principals. After spending five years as an assistant principal, he became one of the younger large high school principals in Virginia at the age of 32. With over 27 years in education, he has developed an outstanding reputation for improving problem schools and race relations.
