Chernoh Alpha M. Bah is an award-winning journalist and political activist based in Freetown, Sierra Leone. Educated at Sierra Leone's Fourah Bay College, he holds degrees in African history and sociology and a diploma in African studies, as well as certificates in economic and financial journalism and judicial reporting on international criminal justice. A longtime activist in West Africa, he is the chairman of the African Socialist Movement of Sierra Leone and has remained the most consistent voice in the struggle for national democratic rights. He was a parliamentary candidate in 2012.
