This genie changes the rules concerning what genies do and how they do it! Young Ross Shafer is trying his best to grow up and become an acclaimed writer. His friends would do anything to help him, but why are they being such nags? Not to worry, Ross has more help than he can handle when he runs up with a genie, the same one who helped Joan of Arc and Attila the Hun. Some famous people including Mark Twain show up to add their two cents, as well. Ross definitely has his hands full as he maneuvers between the wishes of his friends and the three wishes granted to him by his genie.

L'autore:
A graduate from Union Institute & University, Robert just completed his MA thesis on the elements of fiction, in which he explored the literary elements of plot, character, setting, point of view, and theme, as well as creativity as an act of amassing elements already in existence in unique and novel ways. In this study, the elements were defined and certain scenes from the work of Barbara Kingsolver and a few other acclaimed authors were broken down and analyzed in depth in order to present a working knowledge of the elements separately as well as integrally. Aside from the thesis, Robert also wrote a creative piece titled The Bookmakers at Eden. This creative work represents the culmination of the thesis in that writing it allowed him to put into practice what he learned while writing the thesis. Further, Robert developed a methodology for writing fiction, which includes setting up a plotline, creating a catalyst from where the story can begin, a rising action toward a crisis point, and a climax/resolution. This method of writing has allowed not only the creation of this story, but will allow the creation of many more stories over the years.
