Ever since he saw Star Wars for the first time, Andrew Furstenberg was hooked on science fiction and fantasy stories. He spent many days as a child soaking in as many fantastical worlds as he could, including ones that he contrived himself. Then, upon finishing J.R.R. Tolkien's magical "Lord of the Rings," Andrew decided that it was time to put his own ideas on paper. Thus "Battle Lines" was born. After seven years of evolving a childhood story into a full-fledged novel, it was released in 2013. Andrew Furstenberg calls beautiful Northern Michigan home and is currently at college studying film.
