L'autore:
Cynthia Langham, better known as "Grinny", is the grandmother of eight wonderful children. Yet, hundreds of school children know her as their Literacy Coach at Elm Street Elementary in Rome, Georgia. Many others will remember her as Mrs. Tenpenny, which she was - for 15 years. When Mr. Tenpenny passed away, she thought her dream of becoming a children's author had also died. Now, as Mrs. Langham, she's making that dream come true! "Miss Wright, I'd know your voice anywhere!" said one of her former elementary school students from Bradenton, FL. In those 23 years, she was also known as Mrs. McDaniel. But, it was during the years as Mrs. Tenpenny that the stories began to build, grow, and inspire youngsters. She valued creative writing as an every day event. The stories she is now publishing began right there in her personal journal in the classroom. "When I grow up, I want to be a children's author!" students will remember her saying. We think you'll agree when you hear the tales of her classroom pets. Rocky, the hermit crab, and Squeaky, the hamster, are the first of the menagerie to tell their tales. Many more will follow...there's Chico, the talkative cockatiel, and Fluffy, the immaculate bunny...more lovable characters which will become part of "Mrs. Tenpenny's Tales".
