A provocative and intimate portrayal of a 94-year-old woman, Camilla, that challenges readers to live genuinely. Warm characters—her gentlemanly dance partner, her great granddaughter who shares with Camilla a burdensome but essential gifting, and her mutually mischievous neighbor and best friend from childhood—add meaning to her life. A thoughtful person, she struggles to find a death that matches her life, but Life surprises her.A book about an undeniable romance, an enduring friendship, and following one’s dreams, it leads the reader to see aging differently and how achingly beautiful life really is.
