William Reisman, PhD, has earned several degrees: a BS in Bible and Christian Counseling, a BA in English, MS in Christian Ethics, and a PhD in Medical Ethics as part of a coop program with Harvard Medical School, Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, and Faith Theological Seminary. Dr. Reisman has been a consultant to local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies in the area of cult and occult crime. He assisted in investigating the first school shootings in the mid 90s, wrote the manual on how to prepare for and react to a violent incident that is used by schools nationwide. He has been interviewed numerous times on national TV, including the Today Show, as well as interviews with the New York Times and other publications. Dr. Reisman has authored 10 books, taught at Iowa Christian College as a full professor, has been an instructor at Central Christian College, and Chaplain at Woodland Hospital in Moberly, MO. He is the founder of Cornerstone Seminars, holding over 500 seminars across the country for hospitals, colleges, churches, etc. He has been a Christian counselor for over 40 years, and a consultant to churches internationally on problems within the church such as church discipline, leadership, etc. Although he has been diagnosed with a terminal heart condition, Dr. Reisman continues to counsel, teach and write.
