Sirens have been watching humans for thousands of years. They were the harlots of the Wild West, nobles in medieval times, and Geisha in Japan. To some, their song meant death, to others hope and salvation. Scarlet Sinclair was a rescue swimmer in the navy. She loved her family, friends, and life. Then one mission cost her everything. Poseidon had let her drown to turn her into a Siren. He had been watching her for years, waiting for the right moment to recruit her. Sirens were supposed to keep the balance of good and evil. They eliminated the humans that had been tarnished by that evil. Since time began Siren's had been hunted by Sentinels, guardians of humans, they believed only the humans should have control of their free will and their fate. The Greek gods and goddesses of myth were very real, some wanted to protect humanity and others sought to destroy it. A dark power wanted them dead so that he could enslave or kill all humans. Once the order was put out to kill all Sirens, Scarlett had to fight or die. What might save her life was a love she never knew before and a family she had discovered she had been missing for years.
