Yes, heaven is a very large club, and the Scriptures twice tell us how many members it eventually will have, 144,000 (revelation 7:4 and rev. 14:1,3) And because i accept the scriptural explanation in revelation 20:6, that those who go to heaven will be serving as kings and priests of God and Jesus Christ for 1,000 years before the final judgment, i humbly accept and nourish the earthly, rather than the heavenly hope. i believe that either i shall survive armageddon ready to accept my duties as a subject of that kingdom on earth ruled from heaven, or will die first to await resurrection to a paradise earth. as such, i will join two famous Biblical predecessors, Job 33:25 and david (Psalms 139:16) But in the meantime, i allow myself the luxury of deep study of Christianity in an effort to satisfy a curiosity as to who are among the anointed of history. And i have also spent more than a decade of research on the most influential and/or memorable personalities of my lifetime in anticipation of eventual reunions with them all, on earth.
