The reason I write these poems is because of things I’ve gone through in my life. I’ve always hoped that someday I would be able to get them published and now thanks to Tom Spence, Dana Ellis and several members of the church one of my dreams is coming true. I hope that these writings will help someone get through things they may be going through as they have helped me as I wrote them.As you read these, may you never forget that God is with you each step of the way.

My name is Amanda Kian Ferkins, but everyone calls me Mandy. I was born in Clinton, Oklahoma on November 17, 1983. I moved to Burns Flat, Oklahoma when I was four years old and have lived ever since. I have attended the Cumberland Presbyterian Church for the last 6 years.
