He, Jensen, and Jensen's girlfriend, Jocelyn Barangan, become fugitives on the island. An unexpected threat to Zambingtimor occurs when the island is invaded by an unknown military force. This crisis leads to an unlikely alliance between the United States and the new Zambo government to prevent a massacre by the invaders. Jensen devises a strategy that he hopes will save the mission but puts Tam Hoy's life in jeopardy. Tam Hoy must find a way out and clear his name by finding the real assassin.
