Some big names, in Western Canadian history : Arthur Pelkey, James Lougheed, Pat Burns, Henry Wise Wood, and Charlie Russell appear in these 286 pages. But also appearing are Alfred Gough, James Fong, Jens Jensen, and Rollie Crowe. McDaniel was a cattleman by trade but like many Albertans he had a finger in the oil patch too - see Rose Oil. TEXT assisted by many b/w (sepia) photographs, one map, plenty of footnotes, a Family Tree, and index. Cond : Paper wrapper is brown with black spine stripe, and white lettering. Front cover graphic is a photo portrait of a seated Dorsey -1916. . Volume square and tight, colours bright. No marks, tears, stains, names, nor creases. Collectible !!
