Whether they send shivers down your spine or you are in love them, carnivorous plants are one of the most unusual and curious groups of plants on the planet. Many have dabbled with a Venus Fly Trap, but only the truly daring would have pitcher plants that can digest a whole rat! What a talking point at dinner. I have often admired these beautiful plants at flower shows, their colours, growth and habit are intriguing. I love Sarracenias, especially S. flava and the tropical Nepenthes are some of the most photogenic plants I know. This book provides you with all you need to know to care for carnivorous plants.
