The XJ220 is one of the most important super cars of the 90s and thus a book about this vehicle is more than logical. The fact that even the former project manager at JaguarSport was available as an author and with Jim Randle also another important man as a co-author for a chapter could be committed, secures the book a deep insight into the history of the XJ220. So the subtitle The Inside Story is by no means exaggerated. The book then really convinces with many pictures from the different processes and the text also brings one of the other interesting anecdote to light. As well as of course all important details about the Jaguar XJ220. The book should have a firm place in the well-stocked car bookshelf. Fans of the Jaguar brand and also supercar fanatics should secure this title. --autobuch.guru

L'autore:

Mike Moreton worked as a design/development engineer for Vauxhall in Luton before spending 23 years with Ford, where he was involved in engineering, product planning, marketing and motorsport. Mike has also worked for TWR/JaguarSport, where he was project manager for the Jaguar XJ220, and acted as operations director for Aston Martin before becoming Managing Director of KBD Design.
