This has allowed him to put together what is undeniably the finest historical book about Lambrettas in the UK ... For those who don't already own it, this is a superb addition to the Lambretta bookshelf ... this is a unique book, with information about Lambrettas from a British perspective, which no other publication possesses. To paraphrase Joshua in Chapter 1, Verse 8: "Keep this book always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful." Can't go wrong with that advice. --Jet Set

L'autore:
The Scarborough scooter rallies of the late 1970s were where Pete Davies' interest in Lambretta scooters began, and, since the 1980s, Pete has owned a variety of Lambrettas that were made in Italy, Spain and India, from the humble LD 150 to a tuned GP 150.In 1999, Pete took on the role of Vehicle Registrar for the Lambretta Club of Great Britain, and with the position came the desire to unearth far more detailed information about Lambretta scooters, wherever they were built. Now running the British Lambretta Archive, Pete is still discovering - and sharing with fellow enthusiasts - information about what he considers to be the world's finest scooter.
