The foul-mouthed, hysterically funny, rip-roaring account of Fleabag, a twentysomething female struggling with being a woman today. Fleabag is an antiheroine, a refreshingly unique example of today's modern woman. Phoebe Waller-Bridge’s debut play is an outrageously funny monologue for a female performer.
Naughty, funny, and dark, the BBC’s adaptation of Fleabag has been an outstanding hit, written by and starring Waller-Bridge.

Sucker-punch funny... a daring debut that makes up its own rules. I've never seen a play quite like it. --The Scotsman
Unbelievably rude, jaw-droppingly filthy... extremely funny. --Time Out
Believe the hype, Waller-Bridge's raw writing... really is as good as everyone says. --The Stage
Filthy, funny, shattering...whipping one liners and real emotional heft... Fans of the TV show will marvel at how a single line in the theatre piece reveals the seed of a long sequence on screen... Five-stars. --Guardian
The show is a precision black-humor mechanism, a warped and affecting fable about one single woman's existence... the more painful themes of Fleabag would be difficult to absorb if it weren't for how legitimately hilarious the show is: smutty-giggly, caustic, observant about the ugliness of both sexes, and occasionally surreal. --The New Yorker on the BBC television series
