Award-winning artist Rosie Sanders turns her attention to the ever-popular rose, presenting more than 50 of her most beautiful paintings for the very first time. For every painting here, Sanders wrote an accompanying personal letter to the final recipient or buyer. Many of these notes appear alongside the image, and they reveal the creative and emotional process involved in painting that work. Sanders also provides insight into the cultural and mythical importance of roses in art, and includes all her sketches and drawings.

L'autore:
Artist and author Rosie Sanders' work has been displayed in many galleries, including the Shirley Sherwood Gallery of Botanical Art in Kew Gardens and the Park Walk Gallery since 2002. She has been awarded five Gold medals by the Royal Horticultural Society and won the Royal Academy miniature award. Rosie currently lives in Devon.
