Halaby’s work is in the collections of numerous major museums worldwide and has been included in solo and group exhi­bitions from Tokyo to Little Rock to Beirut and Damascus. Maymanah Farhat is a New York–based art historian who has written widely on modern and contemporary art of the Arab world and its diaspora.
