Zara has presented information never before discussed, information which is important to all adoptees and their children. Having experienced separation trauma while an infant affects the way a woman will mother her own children. Will they be able to bond with their baby: will they be over protective.....always fearing someone will take him away? Zara has incorporated experiences from various adoptees into her text which give examples of how much motherhood has affected them and how it has affected their children. This is a much needed look at a subject that has been ignored by most writers.
