This new anthology of Quaker poets - the first for over a hundred years - features distinguished poets such as U A Fanthorpe, Gerard Benson, Philip Gross, Ann Drysdale, Gillian Allnutt, Basil Bunting and many others, from well-known names to exciting newcomers. Edited by R V Bailey and Stevie Krayer. R V Bailey has been a Quaker since the eighties, has published five collections of poetry. A former academic, she became the other voice in readings given by her partner, the late U A Fanthorpe. She regularly reviews poetry, gives readings, etc. Stevie Krayer's publications include two collections of poetry and a translation of RM Rilke s The Book of Hours. Her poetry has appeared in many poetry journals and anthologies. The grand-daughter of Jewish immigrants from Eastern Europe, she has been a Quaker for over twenty years. Her latest collection, New Monkey, will be published by Indigo Dreams Publishing in 2014.
