Rosa Lee Scalf Pack was born on August 7, 1949, and grew up in Prestonsburg, Kentucky, in a family which was both fun-loving and daring. Encouraged by her mother at an early age to be true to herself, she was taught to always be kind to people while climbing the ladder of life because you may meet the same people on your way back down. At the age of eighteen she fell in love and married her lifetime sweetheart Mike Pack. Forty-four years later, they are still together. Currently they reside in Hagerhill, Kentucky.
