L'autore:
Lieven Annemans is Professor of Health Economics at the faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at Ghent University and also lectures on pharmaco-epidemiology at the faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the same university. He is also professor of Pharmaco-economics and the economic aspects of fitness and physical activity at Brussels University (VUB) He is Chairman of the Flemish Health Council (VGR) and ex-chairman of the International Society of Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research (ISPOR). His main specialisation is in health economic evaluations of medical technologies, medicines and care programmes in a variety of fields. These include cardiology, dermatology, diabetes, gastro-enterology, infectiology, clinical biology, neurology, oncology, ophthalmology, orthopaedics, psychiatiy and ear, nose and throat disease.
