L'autore:

Uncommon London editor Michael Fordham was born at the eastern extremities of Londons Central Line and grew up enthralled with his home town's endlessness. Studying Anthropology at University College London between 1990 and 1993, he wrote The Worst Novel in the World before going on to become a writer, reporter and editor for the likes of UK titles like Esquire, The Face, The Guardian and Dazed and Confused. In the US he worked for The New York Times and the Washington Post. Throughout the 1990s he filed stories from Palestine and Colombia, Sarajevo and Chechnya, before settling back in London around 2000, He was founding editor on two influential magazines, Adrenalin, (2000) and (Huck 2007) - and published two works of non fiction: September (Dogstar Press, 2007) and The Book of Surfing (Bantam 2008). He now spends his time between the West Country and London - dividing his efforts between writing and editing books, magazines and blogs and producing and directing films about people, cars, motorbikes and the ocean.
