Bischoff, Friedrich, 1896-1976. Das Füllhorn. Lieder und Balladen der Kindheit. Mit einem Nachgesang. Illustrations and cover by Alfred Finsterer. Berlin: Propyläen-Verlag, 1939, 116pp., very good small illustrated paper-covered boards. INSCRIBED by Bischoff with lengthy poem, July 1943 thanking his friends Tella and Karl Newes, with whom he apparently lived that summer. Certainly a forgotten author, but in his time a man of some importance. After working in theater and radio in Breslau he was removed in 1933, though apparently finding time to serve as a Präsidialrat in the Reichspressekammer; became an editor at the Propyläen-Verlag in Berlin. His main works on his Silesian Heimat were written during the 1930s and 1940s; from 1946-65 he helped build the Südwestfunk.

Aggiungi al carrelloSoftcover. Condizione: New. 21x14 cm. Sprache: Spanisch, NUEVO / NEU / NEW.
