Illustrated throughout with black & white photographs and illustrations. Index. Bound in ribbed burgundy cloth, gilt rules and lettering on spine. Top edge dust-soiled, light edge-wear, some spotting to boards. Signature of Frank H. Douglass on front endpaper. Clark, who wrote the introduction, was Professor of Gynecology at the University of Pennsylvania. Previous owner, Dr. Frank H. Douglass, was a Seattle pediatrician and served as President of the American Academy of Pediatrics (1963-64).
