Libro
Soft cover. Condizione: Fair. No Jacket. ANON (illustratore). 5th or later Edition. This is a highly readable book that provides a valuable insight into the German perspective on the naval war. Well dramatised tactical vignettes are interspersed with brief strategic observations. While quite a bit of these are outdated by now due to more modern research (least of all the Ultra revelations), this does not diminish its vale at all, as it gives an insight into German thinking at the time. Next to talking to an actual participant, this is the next best thing - and in the 21st century the only thing due to the passage of time. It feels very authentic and is well worth a read. light rubbing wear to cover, spine and page edges. Spine creases. Small piece of back cover missing at TOP FLYING edge.
