Inscribed: ÒTo Nettie (Bubbles) & Mal - all good wishes, Bruce Bennett / Herman Brix.Ó A biography of the film star who appeared in such film as The Treasure of Sierra Madre and Mildred Pierce as well as being one of the most memorable screen Tarzans in The New Adventures of Tarzan, and Tarzan and the Green Goddess. In addition to his life in films, Brix/Bennett was an outstaning athelete of the 1920s playing in the 1926 Rose Bowl footbasll game for the University of Washington, winning six national title in the shot, and a silver medal at the 1928 Olympics. Illustrated. Fine in a very good dust jacket with one 2 inch tear to the top of the rear panel and a interior stain that does not show on the front.
