The author grew up in a Finnish immigrant community in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, was the first to receive a doctoral degree in Cultural Studies from the University of Michigan and was a leader in the ASA Commission on the Status of Women. Very good in stapled pink wrappers (some scattered highlighting in the first half).
