It is a tale of their adventures through Mendocino county, San Francisco, the Motherlode area, and the Yosemite area of the 1890's. Included are photographs and footnotes. This copy is clean and solid; the dust jacket shows some wear, possibly from silverfish, now in mylar. It is SIGNED BY THE AUTHOR, inscribed on the half-title page. The endpapers serve as maps. A book review is laid in. Signed by Author(s).
