He was also editor and publisher of Z Press, publishing work by John Ashbery, Bill Berkson, Jean Boulte, Joe Brainard, Ian Finlay, Steve Gianakos, Joanne Kyger, Harry Matthews, Ron Padgett, James Schulyer, Anne Waldman and Marjorie Walish, among others. Almost Heaven broadside is folded into quarters. Very good plus clean copy. Front room.

Teal green printed paper wraps show overall rubbing, expected edgewear, and foxing to front and rear wraps, and spine. Perfect bound binding remains tight yet flexible. Text block show discoloration from age. Pages are bright, clean, free of markings. Pages 135-140 show a thin, short, diagonal crease in the upper area of the leaves due to a bindery error, but this does not alter the print quality and legibility of the text and illustrations.
