Leather. 5 vols. A complete set of five hardcover books bound in 3/4 teal leather with marbled boards and endpapers and ornate gilt decorations on the spines (each of which has five raised bands). Very good condition overall. The spines are a bit darkened and the edges are chafed. Some pages uncut, and the tips of the leaves are tanned. Volume V contains the inscription of an early owner, dated 1899. Apart from some mild foxing here and there, the pages are clean, and the binding is secure across the set. Five volumes of verse by the Victorian poet and wife of Robert Browning.
