Hardcover. Condizione: Very Good. Condizione sovraccoperta: Good. Third UK edition. Two volumes, complete. Hardcovers with jackets. Jackets are edgeworn, with chipping. This includes a rather large portion missing from the top of the spine of volume 2, and a strip missing between the spine and rear panel of volume 1. Volume 1's jacket also has some water staining to the lower edge of the rear panel. Yellowing and dust soil to both. Both jackets are inside protective covers. The boards show some signs of wear, mainly to edges, light rubbing to surface cloth. Volume 2's spine head is faded where that piece of jacket is missing. Gilt stamping is dulled. Endpapers of both volumes are lightly discolored from contact with jackets. Pages are clean and bright on both volumes. Bindings are sound. This listing is for a set, and may require additional postage to ship.

The hinges are sound and undamaged, the corners are sharp and unbumped. Internally, all pages are clean and stain-free, only faintly toned from age, and all text and color illustrations are sharp and legible. There is no writing, underlining, highlighting, or any other such markings in the book. The exterior hardcover binding shows virtually no wear. The Heritage Club Sandglass pamphlet is laid in, and is essentially flawless.
