The odd page throughout the book bears some light foxing. Page edges well thumbed, discoloured and lighlty foxed. Binding is tidy. Illustrated in colour and b/w throughout, with over 150 illustrations by D.H. Souter and H. Bancks and others. Ethel Turner and Jean Curlewis had these first published in the Sydney (Australian) newspaper The Sun. The publisher's own retained copy with their stamp on the front pastedown reading 'file copy'. Slight rubbing to covers with a slight ding at spine, overall sound, clean, very good indeed.
