Minor pencil marking to front free end-paper. Binding remains firm. Boards have mild edge-wear with slight rubbing to surfaces. Mild crushing to spine ends. Book has a slight forward lean. Gilt lettering is bright and clear. Unclipped jacket has moderate edge-wear with chips, tears and creasing. Some liquid staining.

Pages are generally clean and the binding is tight. Pages bit tanned. Previous owner's name, date and location in pen to front end-paper. Odd small mark/minor foxing to page edges, tops and bottoms. Final Draft script for the 1958 film. Based on the 1957 novel by Compton Mackenzie, sequel to Mackenzie's 1947 novel "Whisky Galore," which was also adapted for film in 1949. Britain's Royal Air Force declares plans to establish a guided missile base on a small Hebridean island, aggravating the locals, who intentionally delay construction, to the consternation of an RAF officer sent to negotiate with the islanders. Set in the Hebrides, shot on location on the island of Barra. Beige titled wrappers, noted as Semi-Final Script on the front wrapper, dated 14.2.58. Title page present, dated February, 1958, noted as Semi-Final Script. 102 leaves, with last page of text numbered 101. Mimeograph duplication, rectos only. Pages Fine, wrapper Very Good plus, bound internally with a silver prong.
