Limited edition, '#147 of 210 specially printed and signed copies on Japanese vellum of which 200 are for sale and 10 for presentation.' First edition (first printing). A near fine copy.

Book condition: good, very scarce, number 266 of 450 printed, signed by both authors on front endpaper, the frontis is of Fraser and was drawn by one of the books authors, Albert Rutherston, of the 39 plates, numbers 1, 12 and 18 are missing, in addition to the b/w and color illustrations there are letters from Fraser to his parents and a section titled The Art of Claud Lovat Fraser, the black cloth boards show two faint white smudges to the front, lower right front corner bumped, gilt on spine bright and intact, interior shows four spots to bottom page 2, three to page 3 and one each to pages 4-7, otherwise interior very clean, binding tight, 39 pages followed by illustrations, 10.5 X 13.5 inches.
