Slipcase is brown and covered in a woven fabric, with a yellow illustrated label that reads "Christmas Greetings from Brazil." Slipcase has a few chips and worn areas, and is split across the top, but has protected the volume from similar wear. Illustrated paper boards. Printed in Brazil in 1940. This is copy number 451 of a special limited run of this edition. Unpaginated, about 44 pages or 1/4 inch thick. Good condition. There are a few small spots of discoloration around the edge of the boards and a crack in the gutter visible a few pages in. Binding remains square and tight, boards are firmly attached. Pages are clean and bright with large, colorful illustrations throughout. Paulo Werneck was a famous Brazilian artist and illustrator of children's books. In English. This is an oversized (and overweight) book. Extra shipping charges may be required for international or priority delivery.
