The book is a story of an english lawyer attempt to reach for greatness and the struggles he encounters. The dustjacket has some wear on the top and bottom edges but looks good. The tan cloth hardcovers with red lettering and blue stripes look great with very little wear. The spine is tight. The pages are white with little wear and no marks except a light line on the bottom of the pages. 384 pages.
