Some of the notes may be by Althea Gibson. No date, circa 1950s-1960s. Item measurements range between about 3 1/2" x 6" and 8 1/2" x 11." Some items are more damaged than others; a few typescripts are very fragile and have chipped edges with few wrinkles while others are more intact but have more wrinkling. Other items, such as the printed booklets, are virtually pristine and intact except for minuscule age toning and slight edge wear. Each item is clean and intact overall. The most common types of damage in the collection are light age toning, wrinkling, and edge wear. The collection as a whole is Very Good. Many of the items are about or by the United States Lawn Tennis Association (USLTA).
