Condizione: Fair. 1904. No Edition Remarks. Unpaginated. No dust jacket. Red cloth. Pages are lightly tanned and foxed throughout, heavier to endpapers and pastedowns. Cracking to gutters of a few pages with exposed binding. Some pages are loose from binding. Binding is slightly shaky. Boards have mild edge wear with slight rubbing to surfaces. Soft crushing to spine ends. Scuffing and light marking overall. Mild sunning to spine and edges.

Hardcover. Condizione: Fair. This history of the Island of Saints and Scholars covers the period from the time of St. Patrick down to the Anglo-Norman Invasion of Ireland. Fir green cloth boards with gilt titles along the spine. Their edges are quite scuffed in places; esp. at the head and tail of the spine and spine/board joints. The binding remains tight. Internally, the pages are mild to moderately tanned with occasional spotting. This phenomenon is more apparent on the preliminary and final pages - see title page image as an example.
