Gold lettering on the spine is sharp but not vibrant. Both volumes are protected in a clear archival quality Brodart cover. Volume 1 has 509 pages and volume 2 picks up where volume one left off and ends at page 954. No bookplates, no owner names, no underlining, no highlighting, no markings, not ex-libras. Conservatively graded, most would grade higher. Fold-out at beginning of front volume is intact and in place with no extra folds or tearing. You are unlikely to find a set in better condition; a very nice copy.
