This issue of the Fluxus / avant-garde happenings bulletin, started in 1962 by Wolf Vostell, includes an introductory section on DIAS (Destruction in Art Symposium) alongside other contributions by artists, poets and writers and reproductions of artworks and photographs. The section on DIAS includes Gustav Metzger s 1961 manifesto and 1966 poster, correspondence between Metzger and Vostell, a preliminary report on the symposium and photographs of the event. Among these, there are photographs of Dom Sylvester Houédard (misspelt in the contents as T.S. Houédard), Henri Chopin, Metzger, Vostell and Jean-Jacques Lebel. Other artists, poets and writers who feature in the issue include Dick Higgins, Allan Kaprow, Milan Knizak, Kurt Kren, Nam June Paik, Diter Rot and Ben Vautier. Condition: Very good +. No tears, major creases, or writing, slight foxing to bottom edge of cover, minor rubbing to bottom corner of the sheets and slight toing to edges of back cover, internally near fine.

Eines von 50 numerierten Exemplaren, auf dem Deckblatt gestempelt, numeriert und signiert von Kren, mit der Filmspule (Super 8 Kopie) offen auf Karton. 15 Tafeln einzelner Kader, jeweils numeriert und signiert, darunter der Siebdruck 'Aber Otto', einer Reverenz an Otto Mühl, dessen frühe Aktionen Kren filmisch begleitet hat und 1 Blatt der Partitur des im Oktober in Wien 1971 hergestellten Zeichenfilms (Tuschzeichnungen auf 35 mm Blankfilm): mann kommt / hängt / frau kommt / blasen / plop / vögeln etc. Andrea Winklbauer: Am direktesten ist der Zusammenhang zwischen Film und Kunst . in der Zusammenarbeit mit den Wiener Aktionisten Otto Muehl und Günther Brus festzumachen. Zwischen 1964 und 1966 entstanden sieben Filme zu verschiedenen Aktionen der beiden und 1967 ein weiterer aktionistischer Film in Zusammenarbeit mit Günther Brus. Nach dem Muster der von Wolfgang Ernst hergestellten vier Boxen von 1972-1973, nunmehr selbständig und in Köln ansässig, ehe er später in die USA übersiedelt ist. 1977 war er Teilnehmer der Documenta 6. - Diese späte, von Kren selbst auf Kunstmessen im Bauchladen angebotene Box, ist sehr selten. Hörbuch (DVD). Condizione: Sehr gut. Limitierte Ausgabe. B : Zehn Fotografien, ein Manuskriptblatt, eine 8mm-Filmrolle. 1972. Signiert und nummeriert. Exemplar 46/50 der ersten Auflage. Von W. Ernst im Eigenverlag ediertes Multiple. Die Fotoabzüge (29,7 : 20,8 cm) wurden als Vergrößerung von einer Filmrolle belichtet und zeigen Ausschnitte von Porträtaufnahmen, eines eine alte Fotobox. Das gefaltete Textblatt »Etudes« mit Notizen in roter und blauer Tinte bezieht sich auf die Auswahl der Filmsequenzen. Die Filmrolle in einer Plastikbox auf Kartonblatt montiert, dieses signiert, bezeichnet und mit dem Atelierstempel des Künstlers. Das Prinzip des Films und der reproduzierten Sequenzen entstand in Anlehnung an Andy Warhols »Screen Tests«. Die »Boxen« des österreichischen avantgardistischen Filmemachers Kurt Kren (19291998) wurden immer nur in kleinen Auflagen hergestellt und sind entsprechend selten. Signatur des Verfassers.
