Hardcover. Condizione: Very Good. Condizione sovraccoperta: Good. First Edition. First edition, 1963. Very good in good dust jacket, spine lightly sunned and scraped. Written in 1943 by Lewis and 'enfant terrible" Hollywood mogul Dore Schary to be a major film for MGM. The film was never made due to its undercover aim, to be an allegory of WWII: with Hygatt the villan (Hitler), his henchman Gribbles (Goebbels), and Gerrett (Goering). The plot is here revealed, written in screenplay style, with a 13 page forward on his intentions for the film and the experience of "Working with Red Lewis" by Schary.
