De plus, il consacra particulièrement vingt années de sa vie à classer et conserver les archives paternelles (comme la correspondance échangée par Camille Pissarro et Théo van Gogh, propriété de Ludovic-Rodo avant son transfert au musée Van Gogh d'Amsterdam), constituant ainsi le premier catalogue raisonné de l'oeuvre de son père.
